The research unit Management of People at the Department of Marketing & Management, University of Southern Denmark invites applications for one or more positions as Professor with Specific Responsibilities. The positions are vacant from September 2019 or soon after.
The research unit Management of People was established in 2015. It defines itself as an organizational studies/critical management team and within this overall framework it conducts research in areas such as Human Resource Management and work life, organizational communication and leadership. We embrace methodological pluralism i.e. quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods approaches are welcomed. In a similar way our theoretical inspirations are found in organizational psychology, sociology, organizational theory and management philosophy. The group is dedicated to teaching at bachelor programs such as HA and in particular at the HA profile in Human Resource Management (SDU Campus in Slagelse) and at the Master program (cand.merc.) in Human Resource Management at the main campus in Odense.
