ANATOMIC PATHOLOGIST - The Oklahoma Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (OADDL) and the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology (VPB), College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Oklahoma State University (OSU) invite applications for a faculty position in anatomic pathology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and either tenure or clinical-track. You will be joining an energetic team of five anatomic pathologists who collectively provide diagnostic service at OADDL, teach in the professional curriculum, and engage research and other scholarly activities. Job assignments will be 85% diagnostic necropsy and biopsy service combined with teaching of 4th year veterinary students and training of residents; 10% administration as Pathology Services Section Head; and 5% scholarly activities. The percentages allotted to various job assignments are flexible, depending on the candidate’s background, experience, and professional interests. If interested, there are several opportunities for collaborative research or other scholarly activities. Areas of College research emphasis are infectious diseases, microbial pathogenesis, immunity, parasitology, toxicology, and cancer therapy. The College also hosts the National center for Veterinary Parasitology.

Required qualifications for this position include DVM or equivalent degree and ACVP certification or ACVP-eligibility.  A PhD degree is preferred, but not required. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
