Our Identity

UM6P is an ecosystem of knowledge where fundamental research meets applied innovation. We bring together more than 400 faculty members from 40+ nationalities, united by one belief: that the next breakthroughs will come from collaboration across disciplines — and across continents.

Here, professors and researchers work at the intersection of science, technology, economics, and policy to address pressing global issues — from sustainable agriculture and energy to data science, materials, and governance.

Science & Technology

UM6P's heritage cluster, Science and Technology, is home to a wide range of schools and programs working closely with a network of national, African, and international partners. Its ambition is to become a global reference in education and applied research, shaping a new generation of scientists, innovators, and engineers who will drive the industries of the future. Through its interdisciplinary approach, the cluster fosters innovation in materials science, renewable energy, digital technologies, and data-driven solutions addressing Africa's and the world's grand challenges.

Humanities, Economics & Social Sciences

The Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences (FGSES) prepares visionary decision-makers capable of designing and reforming public policies adapted to the realities of Morocco and Africa. Its programs emphasize international mobility, collaborative research, and the anticipation of Africa's geopolitical and socio-economic transformations. FGSES cultivates thought leadership through research in governance, economics, geopolitics, and sustainable development.

Business & Management

Africa's transformation depends on leaders who can navigate complexity and create value responsibly. Through strong partnerships with leading business schools and institutions worldwide, UM6P's Business & Management cluster develops a new generation of responsible African leaders and entrepreneurs. Our programs emphasize innovation, sustainable leadership, and the ability to respond strategically to the continent's most pressing challenges.

Medical & Paramedical Sciences

At the Higher Institute of Biological and Paramedical Sciences (ISSB-P), research lays the foundation for advances in disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Our professors and researchers lead cross-disciplinary projects in collaboration with international teams to develop new tools in nanomedicine, personalized medicine, and biotechnology. Through this work, UM6P contributes to medical innovation and the advancement of health sciences in Morocco, Africa, and beyond.
