JOB DESCRIPTION
The Doctoral Program in Language Studies (DPLA) in the ITC Faculty is inviting applications for fixed-term employment. The positions are intended for students who have a valid right to study in the DPLA. The aim of the fixed-term assignment is either to bring the dissertation to the pre-examination phase or to finalize a clearly defined stage of the dissertation such as data collection, an article in an article-based dissertation, or a chapter of a monograph. The fixed terms will be 2-3 months each. The total amount of funded months depends on the job requirement level of successful candidates.
Fixed-term employments must take place during the year 2024. It will not be possible to postpone the funding.

To apply, a candidate must be a student in the Doctoral Program in Language Studies.

Fixed-term employments take place during the year 2024. Chosen candidates are required to report on the use of the funding at the end of the fixed term. The salary will be based on the Finnish University Salary System. The position of a Doctoral Researcher is placed on job requirement levels 2-4 of the salary table according to the current stage of the dissertation. In addition, the salary will include a share based on the candidate's personal performance. The total salary will be the sum of these two components.
