The Technical University of Munich (TUM) invites applications for the prestigious

                                     Tenure Track Assistant Professorships

to be appointed in summer semester 2025. The positions are W2 fixed-term (6 year) tenure-track professorships with the possibility for promotion to tenured W3 professorships. Within its Fellowship program, the TUM Institute of Advanced Study (TUM-IAS) awards Rudolf Mößbauer Tenure Track Professorships to excellent early-career scientists with a high potential for developing an internationally recognized research agenda at TUM. Applications are invited for up to five professorships in the following areas of the TUM research:

  • Accelerated Catalyst Discovery by High Throughput Experimentation
  • AI in Biosystems Design
  • Biohybrid Heterogeneous Catalysis
  • Nanoelectronic Circuits and Systems
  • Organoid Systems

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include research and teaching in the university’s bachelor and master programs as well as the promotion of early-career scientists.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have established a strong track record during their postdoctoral phase. A university degree and an outstanding doctoral degree or equivalent scientific qualification, as well as pedagogical aptitude, are prerequisites.
