The Geological Survey of Finland (GTK), established in 1885, is a leading European competence center in the assessment and sustainable use of geological resources. We provide expertise that serves the interests of our clients, stakeholders and society as a whole. GTK is an expert organization under Finland’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, employing approximately 420 full-time staff who are effectively engaged in tasks at the local, national and international level.
