The University of Applied Sciences Mittweida (HSMW) is located in the heart of the Free State of Saxony. More than 6.000 students in 6 faculties studying in their Bachelor, Master or Diploma (FH) degrees here. We are looking back upon a successful history of over 145 years with nearly 80.000 graduates from more than 40 countries.

Focal points and specifics in teaching

Our established and internationally comparable study programmes provide scientific skills and knowledge in the areas engineering, economics, sciences, social work or media. The studies are characterized by theoretical and a strong practical orientation and cooperation with the commerce and industry.

International orientation
