The Department of Computer Science has a vacant position as Assistant Professor in Programming.
Persons who at the time of employment do not have sufficient skills in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language will be offered training in Norwegian, and must be able to demonstrate Norwegian skills at least equivalent to level B2 within three years from the time of employment.
General criteria for appointments to academic positions are covered by the Regulations for appointment and promotion to academic posts.

The position is remunerated in accordance with the Norwegian State main tariff agreements and OsloMet's salary policy in position code 1009 Assistant professor NOK. 509 300 – 646 000. For particularly well-qualified applicants, a higher salary can be considered. 2% of the salary is deducted to the State pension fund.
The engagement is to be made in accordance with the regulations in force concerning State Employees and Civil Servants, and the acts relating to Control of the Export of Strategic Goods, Services and Technology.
